Welcome to Willamette Valley Gamers

Nvidia 3D Vision PDF Print E-mail

Nvidia Has done it once again, and this time they went 3D!!!!

Yup that's right! I had a chance to demo the Nvidia 3D Glasses at Nvision 08. I loved them to death, they had comfort, style, and actually worked without making me want to puke, or acquire a migraine. I played Crysis Warhammer, Gears of War, Guitar Hero, Command and Conquer - Red Alert 3 with the technology, it was stunning.

Everything pop's out at you, and grabs your attention. Makes even a Simple FPS or RTS a unique gaming experience. Now, right off the bat your probably asking yourself, "But Num's? Isn't that super expensive?" "Will I need to upgrade my video card? or Buy a special monitor?" The answer to that is Yes, and No. If you have an Nvidia 8800 or above, you can run the hardware. Monitor might be the only thing you may need to upgrade in the future. The 3D Glasses recommend a 120Hz. Monitor. Which makes sense for the resolution, and frames being pumped out.

Price for the 3D Glasses is $199.00, with a Monitor $598.00.

Welcome to the year of 3D!
