Taking the gaming world by one browser at a time.

www.instantaction.com

There we go folks. GarageGames has been putting a ton of time and effort into the new
open access gaming experience that is available to anyone with a basic PC and an
internet conenction. No more installations, or other cumbersome tedious tasks are
required to play LAN games.. Just sign in, invite friends and pwn faces.. Too easy
is what comes to mind I know.. but trust me.. I work for GG and know first hand
just how well this project is coming together to be exactly what people have been
begging for for years.

Come on over and check it out. You can send me a friend invite too.. Tell 'em Joker808 sent ya ;)

About WVG

 WVGamers Logo
Started in April of 2004, we have grown from an ordinary turnout of about 6 people to more than 50. This has been accomplished by a loose atmosphere and without the elitist attitude that you find at alot of Clan focused LAN events. We try and sometimes excel at creating a friendly atmosphere where players of all games can have a good time. We always have great raffle prizes both paid and free and are growing very rapidly. Consider coming to our event and see why -=WVG=- is the areas best group of gamers.

SteelSeries Ikari Mice update!
Written by Justin
Monday, 17 September 2007

Well apparently things are not always as they appear. Check out this blog post. Basically,
DPI even though it's been the common measurement, is not entirely what we're looking to get from our high end gaming mice.

The folks at SteelSeries have addressed that with the Ikari series.

Thanks!

WVG Gaming and Release Updates

“I see you shiver… In anti……………pation!” – Frank N. Furter

Well, 2006 has come to a close, and all of the latest and greatest games are rapidly becoming the comfy, well worn, favorites.

Company of Heroes has yet to let us down as an action packed, agile, Real Time treat.

The flexibility of the German units, the resourcefulness of the American troops, and well balanced maps have given us hours upon hours of strategic fun and tactical amusement.

And of course, the latest WVG obsession has been Flatout 2.  If you haven’t had a chance to play this game yet, I sincerely recommend that you do so at your earliest convenience.  We’re particularly fond of the Derby (As in crash up derby!) mode and using themes like all players driving the School Bus or Semi Truck.

(Quick hint: Up/Down arrow will change your paint scheme in car selection.)

After playing a metric-ton of Call of Duty 2 with Clan PDX and other gamers at the last PDXLAN, we revitalized our desire to relive some of the key battles of WWII.  We’ve blasted our opponents and friends senseless in both team deathmatch and capture the flag.  And recently, we experimented a bit with the HQ mode.  This is a great change of pace from the usual kill, grab the flag, die, respawn that we see in a lot of games.  HQ mode has both teams attempt to establish a base at a random location on the map.  Once the base is established, you lose the abilty to respawn while the opposing team attempts to destroy your base.  We’ve seen some really outstanding teamwork and gameplay from this mode, and the smack talk really picks up when someone takes down the enemy base.
